There’s something so special about the holiday season. It’s the time of year when families come together, traditions are celebrated, and little moments become lasting memories. One of our favourite ways to capture that spirit is through holiday photos.

For many families, scheduling a Christmas session has become an annual tradition. The photos aren’t just for holiday cards (though they make beautiful ones!)—they’re also a way to freeze time. Children grow, families change, and life moves quickly. Having those cosy, joy-filled portraits year after year becomes a gift you can look back on for decades.

Here at Studio Bokeh, we love being part of those traditions for our local families in Aurora, Newmarket and beyond. That’s why every fall, we put so much care into creating fresh, thoughtful holiday setups designed to bring out the warmth and magic of the season. This year is no exception — we’ve been busy behind the scenes, and we’re thrilled to give you a glimpse of our Holiday 2025 setups!

Setup 1: Cosy Neutrals

Soft cream and beige tones, golden accents, a velvety sofa, and plush pillows make this setup feel warm, dreamy, and inviting. A macramé wall hanging with a real-touch garland completes the look. It’s the perfect setting for families who love a cosy, timeless aesthetic.

Setup 2: Modern Minimalism

Crisp and versatile, this backdrop features a handcrafted wreath against a bright white wall in our main studio. It can stand beautifully on its own for a bold, minimalist look or be styled with seating options like a bench, stool, or ladder. Whether you’re going for chic and elegant or playful and fun, this setup adapts to your vibe.

Making Space for Holiday Traditions

Our holiday setups will be ready at the beginning of October, but bookings are already open. We always encourage families to book early—especially for weekends—since these sessions are among the most popular of the year.
