Christmas is coming to Studio Bokeh, and our Christmas mini session bookings for 2026 are officially open!
This year, we’ve created two completely new Christmas photography setups at our downtown Aurora studio: Snow & Stars and Crimson & Pine. They have very different looks, but both are designed to keep the focus where it belongs — on your family and the moments you share together.
And the best part? Every Christmas session includes access to both setups, so you can create two completely different looks during one visit.
Snow & Stars: A Modern Winter Christmas
Snow & Stars is our bright, clean and Scandinavian-inspired Christmas setup.
Think crisp white tones, snowy greenery, delicate paper stars and beautifully wrapped gifts. Instead of a traditional red-and-green Christmas look, this setup has a fresh winter feel that works beautifully for family portraits, children's photos and minimalist holiday cards.
The light, neutral colour palette also makes it easy to coordinate outfits. Cream, beige, soft grey, white and subtle seasonal colours all work beautifully here.
Crimson & Pine: Classic Christmas Warmth
If you love a more traditional Christmas atmosphere, Crimson & Pine brings all the cozy holiday details.
This setup combines deep burgundy and evergreen with a beige sofa, velvet ribbons, layered greenery, a classic mantel and warm Christmas lights. Located in our window-filled natural-light area, it has an elegant but relaxed feel that works beautifully for families, couples, children and maternity portraits.
The rich burgundy and green tones also make this setup particularly beautiful for classic Christmas cards and holiday portraits.
Two Christmas Setups, One Session
You don't have to choose between them.
Every 2026 Christmas mini session at Studio Bokeh includes access to both Snow & Stars and Crimson & Pine. This means you can get two different Christmas looks without booking two separate sessions.
Our 20-minute Christmas Mini Session includes 10 high-resolution digital images, while the 50-minute Full Christmas Session includes 20 images and gives larger families more time for different groupings, poses and individual portraits.
Christmas Mini Sessions in Aurora — 2026
Our Christmas sessions are held at Studio Bokeh in downtown Aurora, conveniently located on Yonge Street with free on-site parking.
Sessions are available on both weekdays and weekends, so you're not limited to one specific Christmas mini-session day. This makes it easier to find a time that works around school, work and holiday plans.
And yes — pets are welcome! We know that for many families, Christmas photos aren't complete without the four-legged members of the family.
