Studio Bokeh Terms&Conditions and FAQ



We accept PayPal and credit/debit card transactions for our online bookings. Payments for additional time or rental items are processed onsite at Studio Bokeh through credit card or debit. Cash and e-transfer payments are accepted on-site with applicable taxes.


Booking change request


We understand things happen and we are happy to make a booking time/date change for you. All booking changes must be done at least 24 hours before the scheduled rental day/time. No rescheduling on the day of the booking.

Cancellation Policy


If canceled 7 days or earlier before the booking date, a refund is offered (less 10% of the administration fee/credit card processing fee).

If canceled within less than 7 days, Studio Bokeh will credit any rescheduled booking based on availability without an increase or penalty in our hourly rates. No refund will be issued. 

No-show appointments will not receive any studio credit.

Extra Time


If additional time is needed, rent can be paid on-site for $60+HST per each 30 minutes - subject to availability.

Important information if you rent Studio Bokeh

You are welcome to arrive to our studio 10 minutes before the start of your booking so that you can check in with our administrator and get familiar with the space.

We kindly ask photographers to coordinate with clients their times of arrival. We kindly request that clients arrive no earlier than 5 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time.

To ensure a timely departure from the studio, we kindly ask that both guests and photographers conclude their photoshoots at least 10 minutes before the end of their rental period. This allows for sufficient time to pack up and vacate the premises promptly, and ensures a smooth workflow at the studio. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

Should you require more time for your photoshoot - please check with the administrator about possible options to upgrade your booking.



There is plenty of free parking both at the front and rear of the building. Studio Bokeh is located at 15105 Yonge Street, Suite 104, Aurora, Ontario.



Our studio is on the ground floor. There is a double entry door as well to move in larger equipment/props. Patrons in wheelchairs are welcome.

Studio Policy


The party renting the studio is responsible for observing the guidelines and policies as agreed upon at the time of booking. Failure to observe these guidelines and policies will be grounds for loss of future access to the studio and/or damage charges.

We appreciate your cooperation in observing these rules. We ask that everyone respects the space and leaves the rooms clean and tidy to avoid additional cleaning fees.


Studio Inspection and Cleaning


Our administrator will visit the studio at the end of your booking to ensure that the rooms are left in its original condition. Please ensure you leave the rooms clean and with the furniture and props back in their original place for the next customer.


Our  staff can check the room during your studio time. They will knock on the door before entering and give you a warning before coming in.


If you have a large party, please factor in the time to bring/take out your belongings from the studio space. You will be asked to wrap up your shoot 10 minutes early so that you can start clearing out the space. Alternatively, you can dedicate a person from your party to start removing items while you are finishing the photo session.

Courtesy Policies


Please note that outdoor shoes are not allowed in the studio rooms for photographers and their clients. Photographers, please ensure you bring indoor shoes or wear shoe coverings. All guests must ensure their shoes are clean.


There is a clothing rack with a shoe tray to keep the outdoor clothing organized.

We have a camera installed in our reception area, however, we do not have any cameras inside the studio rooms.

Pets are allowed, however you will be responsible for all messes and damages.


Snacking and eating are allowed only the designated waiting/reception area. For the comfort and cleanliness of all our guests, we ask that no food or drink be consumed in the studio rooms or on the furniture.


All garbage must be cleaned and put into garbage bins inside the studio or brought to the garbage bin located outside at the back of the building after your shoot is completed.

Moving and using furniture from another room is allowed however you are responsible for putting everything in its original place.

If you need to move furniture, please lift the items and do not drag them. This damages both the floors and furniture legs.


No open flame/candles allowed.

The equipment provided is to be used with proper care. If the equipment is damaged after use, you will be subject to a replacement fee.

Our studios cannot be used to shoot illegal content including but not limited to pornography.

If a member of your party comes to the studio intoxicated, we reserve the right to ask them to leave the premises without reimbursement.


Smoking (including recreational drugs) is not permitted on studio premises.

Please note that failure to respect the studio rules, studio staff, or other bookers, will result in immediate termination of your booking and can result in a permanent ban from Studio Bokeh.

Cake Smash


Cake Smashes are permitted at the studio under the following conditions:

  • Cake smash is allowed on the white backdrop using white floor panels without additional fee

  • Additional fee is applied when using colour backdrops: $25+tax per cake smash session

  • Please make sure to keep your client and cake away from the walls/backdrop

  • Please make sure to book enough time for your sessions for cleaning  purposes


Our studio has free Wi-Fi for all guests.

Please ask administrator for Wi-Fi username/password.

There is one unisex washroom available for guest use.

Terms & Conditions for Photo Sessions


Rules that apply to all of the sessions:


Cancellation Policy: 50$ deposit is non-refundable. 

However, you can use your 50$ as a credit towards another session if rescheduled at least 24 hours before the session. 

No-show appointments will not receive any studio credit.


Time: If you are late for a session, the session will be done during the remainder of the time. 

Payment: The remainder of the payment will be paid in full at the time of the session. Credit/Debit or cash are accepted.

Photographer is not responsible if client/other participants fail to cooperate during photo sessions.
