Meet your photographer

Hello! I’m Varvara, but you can call me V. Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and having my own studio is truly a dream come true.

I’m also a mom of three beautiful kids, so I understand how special and meaningful the journey of pregnancy is. Each pregnancy is unique, and it’s such an important time in a woman’s life - a moment filled with anticipation, excitement, and love for the little person you’re about to meet.

Maternity photos are a beautiful way to remember this chapter. My goal is to capture your pregnancy authentically through a relaxed and guided maternity photography experience that feels natural and comfortable for you.

During photoshoots, my priority is to make you feel relaxed, confident, and comfortable in front of the camera. A maternity session should feel calm, enjoyable, and special - a moment to pause and celebrate this stage of your life.

If you’d like to chat before booking, feel free to reach out and we can discuss your ideas and what you’d like to achieve during your session.

Use the booking link below, call the studio at 437-900-8500, or email varvara@studiobokeh.ca.

Things to Know About Maternity Photoshoots

When is the best time for a maternity photoshoot?

The best time for a maternity photoshoot is between 28 and 32 weeks of pregnancy. At this stage, your baby bump is clearly visible while you still feel comfortable and confident during the session. We recommend booking your session in advance to secure your preferred date.

How to choose outfits for a maternity photoshoot?

Choosing the right outfit for your maternity photoshoot helps highlight your shape and create timeless, elegant portraits. You can explore ideas online, but we also guide you during the session to create a look that fits your style.

Here are some popular outfit options:

• A fitted dress to show off the shape of your bump
• Flowy gowns and dresses for a soft, elegant look
• Lingerie — alone or with an open-buttoned shirt
• Pre-pregnancy jeans with a bandeau or cropped top
• A bandeau top with a flowing maxi skirt
• Oversized blazer with pants or leggings
• Off-the-shoulder tops or dresses

We recommend bringing 2–3 outfit options for variety during your session.

We also offer a selection of studio outfits available for your session. Contact us to see current options and plan your look in advance.

Can my partner or family join the maternity photoshoot?

Yes, partners and children are welcome to join your maternity photoshoot. Many clients choose to include family members to create meaningful and emotional portraits. For younger children, we recommend scheduling the session around their nap time.

Do you provide makeup and hairstyling?

Makeup and hairstyling are not included by default, but we can help arrange a professional artist for your session. We recommend booking in advance to ensure availability.

What happens after the maternity photoshoot?

After your session, you will receive a private online gallery with proof images. The gallery is available for 30 days so you can select your favorite photos. Each package includes a set number of fully retouched high-resolution images. Final edited photos are typically delivered within 2 weeks.

How much does a maternity photoshoot cost?

Maternity photoshoots start from $275 and include a private studio session, professional guidance, and fully retouched images.
